US Open Recap
The Course -
Merion held up it's end of the bargain. A winning score of plus 1 is what the PGA wants. Choosing Merion is like playing at Fenway park. Not only do the players have to make concessions, but the press, and the fans feel the limitations. This is what the PGA wanted and despite a few logistical nightmares, and a few player complaints, everything seems to have gone well. Just don't ask Rick Reilly. He had a different opinion and some smug 300+ reasons as to why it shouldn't return. Way to give credit to everyone who worked so hard to pull this off and make it an overall success.

The Golf -
Something about a US Open adds additional pressure to the players. Long rough, history, the gallery, whatever it may be. Consistency is what wins. Overall, it wasn't that exciting, and again, you feel like that's exactly what the PGA wants in a US Open.
The Gear -
Phil comes in second for the 6th time in a US Open with no driver in the bag.
And these pants were worn. Nice work by RLX making some waves with an exciting young player and generating some buzz.
